florals
Beyond the movement of the studio, my work is also an homage to the roots of my creative spirit. My floral paintings are a legacy of my paternal grandmother, Daisy—the single greatest influence on my life. She taught me many wonderful things, but her most enduring lesson was the feeling of unconditional love.
Our time spent together gathering flowers was a masterclass in observation; through her eyes, I learned to truly see the intricate beauty of the natural world. Florals, and daisies in particular, have become my personal symbols of warmth and connection. When I paint flowers today, I am not merely capturing a botanical subject, but honoring the memories of a woman who brought joy, tenderness, and a quiet, profound beauty into my life.
