A little about me

I’m a self-taught artist who paints straight from the heart. Color, texture, and emotion guide everything I create, whether I’m working in realism, impressionism, or something more abstract. I love art that feels alive—art that speaks even when words fall short. Over the years, my paintings have also allowed me to give back, helping raise funds for children with cancer, individuals with Down syndrome and autism, and organizations like the New Orleans Museum of Art. Creating work that brings joy and connection to others is one of the greatest gifts of being an artist.

Before I devoted myself fully to painting, I spent much of my life in the creative world—from training with Lancôme in Paris and New York and working as a makeup artist for film and television, to producing and consulting for major brands like Procter & Gamble and Pepsi. Each chapter taught me new ways of seeing beauty. Now, painting is where all those experiences come together. It’s the place where I feel most at home—and the place where I get to share a little piece of myself with you through every brushstroke.

Brenda is one of those rare artists whose creativity knows no bounds. I’ve watched her art grow and evolve, and I’m constantly inspired by the range and depth of her work. From expressive abstracts and vibrant florals to powerful portraits of women, each collection feels deeply personal and alive with energy. I’m continually drawn to her unique voice and the beauty she brings into the world. Brenda pours her heart into everything she creates—and it shows.
